Lavender hydrosol, also known as “Lavender flower or floral water” is gentler than its essential oil, but possesses just as many aromatherapy and topical benefits. Use directly on the skin as a hydrating toner, body mist, add it to bath and body products, spritz your bedding to help you sleep to give them a fresh Lavender scent. Contains a small percentage of essential oils, as well as the water soluble components of the plant material. The fragrance is greener and more grassy than its flower as there are more elements of the plant contained in this beautiful water.
Uses
For hair - gently acidic, it acts as an excellent balancing hair rinse. Let’s not forget that it also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, which brings a substantial contribution to keeping your hair clean, shiny, and healthy. Other uses - Air/linen freshener - the organic lavender distillate will deodorise and freshen your bedding, towels, home, car or workspace creating a subtle relaxing and clean welcoming environment. Add it to your humidifier, steam iron or steamer to perfumes clothes and bedding.
House Cleaning - opt for using lavender linen water to clean windows as this pure distillate will prevent marks and spots from showing up. Even more, it adds a lovely shine to floors, sinks and counter tops, freshening the smell of your home at the same time.
Pets - wounds, itchy areas and scratches will be soothed and kept clean and disinfected. Spritz on to your dog’s coat for shine and protection.
